Cape Clear Island

Having a very very nice time exploring this little island. Kind of Gaelic form of Hornby Island, local everything, people are friendly ( by that I mean like the Irish in general) beautiful vistas back to Ireland and out to Fastnet lighthouse. We are staying in a b&b about a mile from the dock, it’s hilly here so the local van guy took us there. We really like Trina our host and I can’t wait until breakfast, she makes amazing French toast.

There is a mini music festival here this weekend and after we finish dinner that’s where we’ll be. We’ve got another full day of exploring then we leave Monday morning for another adventure in Sheep’s Head peninsula.
